| Testimonials Lovely Cottage, Great view, Awesome service!!! Review Submitted: June 13, 2010 Date of Stay: June 2010 "We loved our stay! Incredible cottage in an incredible area!" My boyfriend and I have had the pleasure of staying numerous times at the cottage. The location is perfect, it's not to far from town. It's perfect for a small family or a couple that are looking for a romantic getaway. The place is fully furnished with everything you can think of, from beach towels, to shot glasses, a bbq and even a washer and dryer. The cottage is surronded by a vineyard. With Stuart's profession in winemaking, he tells you all about the vineyard and will even offer you a glass of homemade wine that is "delicious". Now how many people get the pleasure of staying on a vineyard?? Tina, Stuart and their daughters are so welcoming. We have truly been blessed by their friendship and hospitality. I would recommend anyone to this beautful cottage. What makes it even more fun to stay there is to watch the chickens run around and have Harley and Lily greet us everytime.. Thanks for the memories!! Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway On August 30th, we Stayed at the Guest House of Starz Vineyards, this place was incredible, very close to town 10 minute drive, and it sits in a very quiet and cozy vineyard, next to a fantastic lake, which is perfect for picnicks, swimming or just chilling. The accomodations where 5+ stars, super clean, and incredible finishes, this made the stay feel like a real vacation instead of staying at a hotel, home cooked meals, relaxation at its best. State of the art facilities, and the best part was the company from the Owners, this was a trully unique experience, we got to know them well and spent couple of nights drinking with them, they are a very very nice family and super attentive as hosts. Would 100% recommend it to anyone going to Penticton or Kaleden and looking for a true vacation. The place is located also very close from 38 or so winneries, so there is plenty of drinking and site seeing as well. ~ Stuart and Tina's Cottage was one of the highlights of our trip. Set in a relaxing enviroment, they have built a beautiful vacation home that we were very sad to leave. About 5 minutes south of Penticton, it was nice to be away from the crowds and noise, and yet convenient enough that we went to town every day.. The beach in Kaleden was very nice if we didn't want to fight the crowds in town. Stuart and Tina and their family were extremely friendly and accomodating. Very friendly enviroment for young children (4,9 and 12). They roamed the vineyard and played with the Battie's pets all day. We have stayed in 6 vacation homes in the past ten years. This was by far the best overall experience and value for our money. Not wheelchair accessible. From Edmonton, Alberta, August 2009 ~ It was one of the best vacations we have had. The place felt like home (clean and cozy) and the owner made our stay there very special. Thanks to Stuart, Tina, Rachael and Amy! And their dogs Lilly and Harley! We love the area and water activities, and yet we had the privilege of quiet relaxing evening. We will be coming back :) From Calgary, Alberta July 2009 ~ Our stay was great, the owners are very nice and they made our stay very enjoyable. The evenings on the deck overlooking the vinyard, lake, and mountains with a glass of vino are priceless. The unit was clean, had everything we needed and there is no doubt we will be back. Just wonderful. From Bob & Diana, Florida, June 2009 |
