Penticton hosts several major events and festivals throughout the year. From the Auto shows, to Elvis shows, Jazz festivals and other sports and cultural events. There is also a world class hockey school that runs for much of the summer and during school breaks.

To Do

Walk to the local museum and historical sites to learn about the early history of Penticton. Find out about Tom Ellis, an Irish immigrant who settled here in the 1860‘s to raise cattle. You can still find parts of the historic 1915 Kettle Valley Railway that have been preserved because of the integral link it was between Vancouver and the prairies. The recently restored S.S. Sicamous should be on your list of things to check out in Penticton.
